Bob Teravainen

For the last 25 years Bob Teravainen has lived in the Grandview section of Hampton. Retired from Langley AFB after 20 years of honorable service with United States Air Force, Bob received the Meritorious Service Medal and Air Force Commendation Medal. After graduating with his Master of Science degree in Education from Old Dominion University in 1985, his lending career began with Guild Mortgage. Bob joined First Jefferson Mortgage in 1990, which merged with Resource Mortgage and then sold to Fulton Mortgage. Always keeping his clients’ best interest at heart, Bob was both a Presidents Club Member and Top Producer for all of these mortgage companies. He joined Old Virginia Mortgage to become the Peninsula Branch Manager in December 2010.

A past President of the Oyster Point Exchange Club and a charter member of the peninsula chapter of the American Military Retiree Association, Bob enjoys spending time with his family and saltwater fishing throughout the east coast.
