Adam Newman

As a Randolph-Macon College graduate, Adam entered the mortgage banking industry in 2002 with Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corporation where he was recognized each year as one of the top 50 loan officers out of over 1000 loan officers nationwide. Before joining the OVM team, he was with US Mortgage Finance Corporation and was one of the top producers both years.

Adam joined Old Virginia Mortgage because he saw the care, attention to detail and professionalism everyone in the company has towards their clients. Throughout his career in the mortgage banking industry, Adam has maintained an excellent relationship with his clients and fellow professionals in the real estate industry.

He has a wonderful understanding of all of the mortgage products that are available, but has been concentrating on FHA, VA, USDA (rural development), VHDA and conventional products. Adam takes the time to learn the clients’ needs so that he can help them select the best possible loan. Due to the preliminary work done, he insures that the loan will not only be the best for the client now, but moving forward. He has worked with all types of clients, but really enjoys helping first time homebuyers reach their goal of home ownership.

Adam currently resides in Virginia Beach with his wife Lucy and two children, Berkeley and Thomas.
